John Santos PT

While serving four years in the U.S. Marine Corps he competed on the Marine Corps power lifting team. Upon receiving an honorable discharge he continued his pursuit of a world championship winning multiple state titles and the U.S. National Championship in 1988. Injury and the start of a family meant a change in goals which led him to achieving a degree in Physical Therapy from Long Beach State University in 1994.

He has worked in a variety of rehabilitation settings including: inpatient, transitional care unit, acute rehab, wound care and out-patient orthopedics. In 2001 he founded PRO PT and continues to specialize in general orthopedic and sports Physical Therapy. He performs bilingual community education and corporate consultation lectures on back safety, body mechanics and repetitive strain injuries.

In his free time John continues to workout, is an avid skier, loves to mountain bike, enjoys watching Yankee games and spending time with his family and friends.
